Dida's Spring Wish List

THE JACKETS
The short trench is everywhere right now and I love the colour of this Massimo Dutti one. A cream blazer is a must have in any wardrobe. They look great over dresses, with jeans, dressed up, dressed down - truly one of the most versatile pieces you could own. And then the quilted jacket. They have been around for a while and as much as I love a floral pattern, I like how this Sezane one is reversible so you have the choice of pattern or plain depending on your mood!

THE LAYERS
Damson Madder have really nailed the gilet - they work over almost anything and with the unpredictable English weather, they make the perfect extra layer if needed. Fun fact, my favourite colour is red and this cardigan is calling my name, and a pop of colour is perfect to kick off spring. Then another layering item I am loving is a sleeveless jumper, plus they look great with bare arms too.

THE BLOUSES
Shirts are a classic item all year round but I was really drawn to the boxy shape of this Everlane one. The other two blouses are perfect for the transition between spring and Summer, pretty but not too prim. Gosh how nice it will be when we don't need to wear a jumper on top either!

THE BOTTOMS
Going into spring I am usually tan-less so definitely opt for the maxi skirts and the jeans but if we are lucky enough to get a warm spring, and you are keen to get your legs out go mini!

THE SHOES
Well it would be rude not to include one of my own and you will be hard pressed to find me in anything other than the espadrilles through spring and summer. However, I do like to mix it up from time to time. Trainers are a must and I am loving the colourway of these Adidas Spezial's - sadly out of stock in my size but I am keeping my eye out for a re-stock! Then the birkenstocks, I have them in white and love them but now I'm after more of a muted toned pair so these beige suede ones are firmly on the wishlist.

THE BAGS
The final part of any outfit, but definitely not to be overlooked - the bag. When the weather is warmer, there tends to be less I need to carry around so I go for smaller bags. I love this Isla de Gar bag, perfect for events season. Red bag - hello! Back to my favourite pop of colour and if you are not so confident wearing bright colours, accessories is the perfect way to test the waters. And finally a Dida Ritchie clutch of course..! The tan suede is the perfect tone and top of my list going into spring.
